ConnectWise Appoints Hal Edwards Chief Marketing Officer
 TAMPA, Fla. – Sept. 2, 2008 – ConnectWise, the leading professional services automation (PSA) software for IT solution providers, has appointed Hal Edwards chief marketing officer. Edwards brings more than 30 years of strategic communications experience to this position, which is responsible for sales demand generation, event planning and Web presence.

Edwards has a broad-base of experience that includes work within a variety of prominent, nationally branded corporations as well as agency environments. Prior to ConnectWise, Edwards was vice president of Marketing and Communications at Kforce Inc., a publicly traded professional staffing firm. During his tenure at Kforce, Edwards was charged with strategic and operational direction for the company's marketing and communications. He participated in the rebranding of the company (formerly called Romac) and the growth of Kforce into a $1 billion company. Additionlly, he re-engineered the organizational model for resource management and was a driving force in the advent of the Kforce eMarketing strategic plan.
Prior to Kforce, Edwards held various senior leadership positions for a number of marketing firms including WestWayne (now 22squared), Bigelow and Eigel,and Atlantis Marketing. Earlier in his career, Edwards held marketing positions for KFC and Burroughs Corporation.
A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Edwards holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration.
