Earl Provin Joins ConnectWise as Manager, Partner Support Services

Leadership team expanded to support company's service-excellence focus 

TAMPA, Fla. – Oct. 31, 2007 – ConnectWise, the leading business automation software publisher and IT services provider, has named Earl Provin manager, Partner Support Services. In this newly created role, Provin will oversee implementation of all ConnectWise installations and manage the company’s help desk operations. The appointment follows the company’s renewed commitment and intensified focus on creating an exceptional customer service experience.

Provin brings nearly 25 years of IT services experience to his position with ConnectWise. His vast background includes a wide array of IT disciplines ranging from help desk support and quality assurance testing to e-business technical services and systems implementation. At Dendrite International, a publisher of software solutions for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, Provin managed a team of 65 analysts responsible for supporting almost 7,000 pharmaceutical sales representatives.  As manager of Product Technical Support for Interliant Inc., a provider of managed infrastructure solutions, Provin’s team dramatically improved service ratings, attaining “exceeds expectations” scores for more than 80 percent of respondents.

Other notable leadership roles held by Provin included stints with Atlanta-based Bellsouth.net and The Coca-Cola Company. In these positions, he earned a reputation as a highly successful change-agent skilled at delivering on goals. At Bellsouth.net, Provin introduced management escalation, disaster recovery and other business procedures that earned him outstanding achievement awards in each of his years with the company. During his first few months with The Coca-Cola Company, Provin quickly identified organizational reporting and process changes that could significantly improve sagging customer response times. In only four short months after his recommendations were put into action, delivery times were reduced from eight weeks to three days.

Provin is a graduate of Jacksonville, Fla.-based Jones College, earning a degree in Computer Sciences in 1986.
